KC Public school students excel at WELMUN-24 Conference

JAMMU, Aug 21: Ten students from KC Public School participated in the prestigious WELMUN-24 Model United Nations Conference hosted by Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun. The delegation included Mrinmay Mehta, Suhas Koul, Medhaj Pathania, Ada Aggarwal, Aeishna Sharma, Praney Sharma, Achyut Khajuria, Kavin Bhushan and Shreedha Gupta.
During the conference, various committees, including Lok Sabha, United Nations Security Council, and the United Nations Human Rights Council, were simulated. The KCPS delegates actively participated, demonstrating their debating skills on critical national and international issues. Notably, Suhas Koul from KCPS delivered an exceptional performance in the Lok Sabha Committee, where he engaged in intense debates on significant issues like Article 356 and the Uniform Civil Code. His efforts were recognized with the Outstanding Delegate award in his committee. The experience provided KCPS students with a platform to enhance their public speaking abilities and gain insights into global diplomacy.
