KC Public School students join 4th delegation to Malta

JAMMU, May 12: With a view to promoting Indo-Maltese co-operation in the field of education, the University of Malta in association with the High Commission of Malta in India is taking the 4th delegation of students and teachers from different schools of India to Malta from May 14 to 21.
The students would be attending an academic programme related to the field of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation to be delivered by the renowned faculty of Edward De Bono Institute of Design and Development of Thinking at the University of Malta.
Through this programme, students would learn various tools and techniques that would enable them to broaden their perspective, generate creative ideas, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, critically analyse information, foster innovation and design strategies for a better future.
In addition, students would also get an opportunity to interact with the faculty and senior officials of the University besides some magnificent sightseeing and other thrilling experiences. The delegation aims at meeting the objectives of learning, relationship building and exploration.
Six students of KC Public School led by Shobhna Sethi, Cultural Coordinator are leaving Jammu tomorrow as members of this delegation. They will be joined by other members of the delegation from India and leave Delhi for Malta on the morning of May 14.
Kcean student members of the delegation from classes IX and XI are Rupakshi Mahajan, Ribhav Mittal, Karan Dhar, Ritvik Gupta, Sarthak Gupta and Amodhini Karwani.
In a special morning assembly to bid them Bon Voyage, Sethi and Kcean delegates apprised the assembly of the objectives of the delegation and how the experience would impact student members.
Principal Amarendra Mishra expressed hope that the students will return home richer in terms of knowledge, awareness and perception of Malta University as a prospective destination for higher education and Malta as a culturally rich nation.
