KC Public students sparkle in INSPIRE Camp at JU

JAMMU, Jan 28: Seventeen students of KC Public School, Jammu pursuing Science stream in their class XIth excelled in the five days INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Innovative Research) Camp, organized by the Department of Geology, University of Jammu in collaboration with DST Government of India, here recently.
The purpose of the Camp held all over India was to inspire young students of the Country to pursue careers in Scientific Research.
According to a handout issued here it was the 7th Camp of its kind held in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the Camp, the students were exposed to series of lectures and demonstrations by eminent professors drawn from well known Universities of India.
An Inter-School Quiz Competition was also held during the Camp, wherein 12 schools of Jammu took part. KC Public School team of Vikram Grewal, Vivek Reshi and Abit Tickoo lifted the winners trophy in the contest which was presented to them during valedictory function.
