JAMMU, June 25: KC Sports Club has been assigned the challenging task of providing intensive training to the budding cricketers of J&K registered with the BCCI through J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) with effect from June 20, 2018.
The arrangement has been made through an agreement between JKCA and the management of KC Sports Club.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ranji Trophy trial matches were held on the pitches of KC Sports Club in February 2018. During that time, former Justice CK Prasad (Administrator) JKCA and Ashiq Bukhari (CEO) of JKCA visited the facility at KC Sports Club and were impressed with it. In addition to 10 outdoor turf wickets and full-sized ground, KC Sports Club has 9 indoor artificial wickets with the facility of night training along with world-renowned Bola bowling machines. After seeing the facilities of KCSC, an agreement was signed between Ashiq Bukhari, JKCA CEO and Raju Chowdhary, Managing Partner KC Sports Club in presence of International Cricketer and Ranji Trophy Captain, Parvez Rasool, wherein registered cricketers of the State can use the facilities at the Club any time they desire.
This not only gives the cricketers access to cricketing facilities but also to its gym of international standards with Cybex equipment imported from the US along with a swimming pool and other facilities like steam sauna, squash, badminton and so on.
