KC Sports Club registers 6-wkt win over VRCC

JAMMU, Feb 26: KC Sports Club registered 6-wicket win over VRCC in a low scoring match to advance in the ongoing Jammu and Kashmir Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, VRCC collapsed at 52 runs in 16 overs, with Sonu scoring 11 runs and Yatin contributing 9 runs to the total. For KC Sports Club, Aman took 5 wickets, while Ramandeep and Arjun shared 2 wickets each.
In reply, KCSC chased the target in 10 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Abhishant (25) and Amrit (12) were the main scorers. For VRCC, Narinder Paul Singh took 3 wickets and Asif claimed one. Aman of KCSC was declared man of the match.
The match was officiated by Sohail Yusuf, Anil Kumar and Rahul Bhat.
In tomorrow’s fixture, CCC will take on New Challengers, while Arun XI will lock horns with Krishna CC.
