Srinagar, Mar 26: The 2nd J&K State Soft Tennis Championship for seniors, juniors and sub-juniors organized by J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council was held at Gindun Stadium, Raj Bagh, here.
Two trainees of KC Sports Club, namely Antestika and Samanyu along with their coach Indu Bhushan represented Jammu district in the event and put up excellent performances.
In the individual Sub-Junior Girls’ Singles category, Antestika of KC Sports Club trounced her opponent by 3-0 in the finals to win the gold medal, while in the Sub-Junior Boys’ Singles category, Samanyu of KC Sports Club defeated his rival by 3-0 in the final to win gold medal.
In the Senior Men’s category, KCSC coach Indu Bhushan drubbed his rival by 3-1 in the finals to win gold.
Arjun Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC Sports Club lauded the efforts of coach Indu Bhushan and his students Antestika and Samanyu for their outstanding performance in the Championship.
