JAMMU, Mar 20: In the KPL Veteran Cup final, Kashyap Cricket Club (KCC) defeated Alpha Productions Cricket Club (APCC) by 40 runs at KC Ground, here today.
Deciding to bat first after winning the toss, KCC scored 188 runs in their stipulated 20 overs. Rocky Raina made 62 runs,while Ashwani Bhat scored 56 runs and Anil Bhat contributed quick fire 21 runs. For APCC, Dileep Dhar was the pick of the bowlers who took 3 wickets by giving 28 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, APCC failed to chase the target in stipulated overs and thus lost the match by 40 runs. For APCC, Deepak Pandita scored 32 runs and captain Bharat Bhat made 29 runs.
Rocky Raina was announced as man of the match for his splendid performance.
