NOWSHERA, Apr 20: KCC Kalsian defeated GCC Gania by 6 wickets in the summit clash to lift the title trophy of the Kalsian Premier League at Kalsian, here today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, GCC Gania scored 127 runs in 14.2 overs. Ashok was the top scorer with 34 runs, studded with 3 fours and 3 sixes. For KCC Kalsian, Girdhari was the pick of the bowlers, who scalped 3 important wickets by conceding 16 runs in his 4 overs.
KCC, in reply, chased the target in 13.2 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Suresh and Girdhari contributed 54 and 43 runs to the total respectively. For GCC, Ashwani took 3 important wickets by giving away 15 runs in his 4 overs. Girdhari was declared as man of the match.
Cricket promoter, Rakesh Choudhary distributed the prizes among the winners and runner -up teams on the occasion.
