KCIS celebrates 14th Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 3: KC International School Jammu celebrated its 14th Annual Day on December 3, 2019 at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here today.
The School Orchestra commenced the grandeur with their symphony followed by lighting of the ceremonial lamp to invoke the blessings of the Almighty by the dignitaries on the occasion.
MK Sinha, IGP (Crime) J&K was the chief guest, while Pavan Vashishtha, Principal, Birla ShishuVihar, Pilani (Rajasthan) was the guest of honour.
Among the management the dignitaries present were Chaitanya Chowdhary, Vice Chairman of the Institution, Saroj Mahajan and Dr Shikha Chowdhary.
Earlier, Headmistress of the school, Poonam Bhagat presented welcome address followed by an invocational dance ‘Anandalok’ which was indeed a spiritual transaction with the creator of Heaven and Earth.
Arti Sharma, Senior School Coordinator presented the School Annual Report in which the achievements and glories of this institution were highlighted with the beginning of Carnaylon-Colours of life.
The highlights of the programme was Shakespeare’s last play, The Tempest, revealing a plethora of emotions on an enchanted Island.
The students showcased the fascinating and gripping journey of love and hatred that unfolded the elements of magic, betrayal and conveyed the ultimate message that ‘forgiveness is the highest virtue’.
Rajni Malhotra, Activity Coordinator announced the names of the achievers for their exemplary performance in academics and co-curricular activities.
The chief guest and the guest of honour congratulated the management, staff and students for working with fervour and spirit and making the programme a success.
The vote of thanks was presented by Vice Chairman Chaitanya Chowdhary.
The event concluded with a closing medley appreciating and cherishing the present moment and tearing behind the thoughts of emptiness.
