JAMMU, Aug 28: KC International School organized a Panel Discussion ‘A Voyage of Political Arena’ an Inter-School Competition 2014-15 in its Campus, here today.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Dr Punika Pandita and other dignitaries present on the occasion.
This was followed by a welcome song by the choir of KC International School. The students of 10 reputed Schools of Jammu participated in Programme on the fundamental rights given to the citizens of India, Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
The students quoted latest examples like the Damini Rape case and Malala Yousafzai. They discussed the fundamental rights and their legality based on it. Some students also questioned the fundamental rights and the awareness of it among the individuals of these countries.
Speaking on the occasion, Jasbinder Singh, the judge said that it was good to see the students presenting their views on such intellectual matters like the fundamental rights of some of the countries.
Dr Ganesh Malhotra, another judge appreciated the efforts of the School in organizing such a beautiful programme.
The winner of the competition was KC International School, while Jodhamal Public School emerged runners-up.
This programme was a part of the International School Award. The vice chairman of the School, Chaitanya Chowdhary, also graced the occasion and appreciated the efforts of teachers and the students.
Principal of the School, Dr Ravi Bhushan, presented the vote of thanks.
