JAMMU, May 25: KC International School (KCIS) organised a programme for the academic year 2024-2025 to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talented students to lead the school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.
The event was presided over by chief guest Dr Sunil Gupta, DIG, Jammu, Samba and Kathua Range and Dr Ashok Kumar Sharma, Director School Education who was present their as the guest of honour, Anissa Nabi, State Project Manager at J&K Rural Livelihood Mission, Rahul Sahai, Chairman, PhD, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of the school Chaitanya Chowdhary, General Secretary Saroj Mahajan, and the school Principal, Anupama Sinha were present during the occasion.
Senior School Coordinator, Roma Gupta initiated the event with a formal welcome note. Students presented classical dance on a beautiful devotional song, which signifies removal of darkness and symbolizes virtue and holiness.
Principal of the school Anupama Sinha administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, who swore to serve their alma mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.
Chief guest Dr Sunil Gupta adjured the students to be passionate as passion is one of the most important factors in the success of any career. Dr Ashok Kumar Sharma boosted the confidence of the young leaders with his inspiring words.  Anissa Nabi exhorted them to uphold the values. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers.
Rahul Sahai also applauded and conveyed his best wishes to all the elected members. President of KCIS Chaitanya Chowdhary also appreciated the students’ council and urged them to excel in their life with alacrity.
