KCIS students selected for Asian C’ship in Singapore

JAMMU, Sept 15: Three students of KC International School, Jammu have been selected to represent India at the Asian Championship to be held in Singapore in the month of December.
The selection of the students was made after they won 11th Junior National Pentanque Championship held at Haridwar from September 9 to 11. Overall 16 States had participated in the National Championship.
Petanque is the National game of France. It is played with metallic balls. The participants have to exhibit patience and diligence to pursue the game.
The final match of Petanque championship was played between Jammu & Kashmir and Maharashtra. The match was won by Jammu & Kashmir team comprising Arkit Jain of Class VIII, and Mohd Junaid Mir and Kartavya Sehgal of Class IX of KC International School, Jammu.
These winning students have been selected to represent India at the Asian Championship to be held in Singapore in the month of December.
