KCPS holds 6th Edition of MUN Conference

JAMMU, Oct 26: The sixth edition of the Model United Nations (MUN) Conference at KC Public School began with an inspiring opening ceremony, welcoming 280 student delegates from various schools across Jammu. This three-day conference provides a platform for students to engage in in-depth debates on significant national and international issues, enhancing their leadership and diplomatic skills.
The opening ceremony, held at the KC Sports Club sports hall, featured Prof. Sanjay Gupta from the University of Jammu’s Department of Law as the chief guest and Dr Raj Kumar, Senior Assistant Professor of Law, as the guest of honour. KC Public School’s Principal, A.K. Mishra, welcomed the guests and delegates, following a lamp-lighting ceremony.
A brief cultural program with song and dance performances set a lively tone for the conference. The event concluded with the distribution of gavels to the Executive Board members. Prof. Sanjay Gupta and Dr. Raj Kumar praised the MUN initiative, highlighting the importance of such forums in fostering critical thinking and global awareness among students.
