JAMMU, Oct 23: The Annual Sportathon 2024 at KC Public School took on the school’s multi-sports ground, celebrating athletic spirit among students. The chief guest for the occasion was Prof. (Dr.) Kulwant Singh, former Controller of Examination and Head of the Law Department at the University of Jammu, who currently serves as Principal of KC Law College, Jammu. In his welcome address, Principal A.K. Mishra expressed gratitude to the chief guest for inspiring the young athletes with his presence.
Following the opening ceremony, various track events were held, including short and long sprints and relay races for both boys and girls in junior and senior categories.
After the athletic competitions, a brief prize distribution ceremony took place, where the chief guest awarded trophies and certificates to the winners. He commended the participants for their outstanding performances and wished them success in their future athletic endeavours.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Sanjay Pandey, vice principal of the school, marking a successful day of sportsmanship and celebration.
