JAMMU, Sept 30: KC Public School received Sustainability Innovator Award-2023 at recently held ‘Guardian of the Green’ event at New Delhi.
The award recognised individuals and organisations that have demonstrated outstanding commitment, creativity and innovation in pursuit of sustainable solutions. As a Round Square school, KCPS has been a frontrunner in implementing innovative sustainability measures by integrating eco-friendly policies. ‘Paryavaran Sadan’, Environment Club of the school, encourages students to take active part in promoting sustainable practices under which students initiate campaigns for waste management, energy conservation, water preservation and tree plantation.
Chairman Raju Chowdhary, Vice Chaiman Arjun Chowdhary, MD Arti Chowdhary, Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra and Vice Principal Sanjay Pandey appreciated the entire school staff for motivating students to give concrete shape to some of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
