JAMMU, Sept 1: A large contingent of swimmers of KC Public School dominated the Annual Inter School Swimming Meet hosted by KC International School and bagged 7 gold, 16 silver and 8 bronze medals.
In the Under-15 category for boys, Karan Dhar won 2 gold and 2 bronze medals. Sanjeet Singh bagged one silver and one bronze in this category. Lily Bhau and Yuvraj Gupta bagged 2 bronze medals each, while Arnav and Sawan Vaid claimed one silver medal each.
In Under-12 boys category, Nilay won 4 silver medals, while Vikas Koul clinched 2 silver medals and Piush claimed one silver medal. Sushant Singh bagged 3 silver and one bronze medal in this age group.
In Under-14 girls, Diya Khajuria won 2 gold, Samya Vaid bagged one gold and one silver, while Akshita Mengi and Anika Gandotra won one gold and one silver each.
Principal of the School, Amarendra Kumar Mishra lauded the efforts of the swimmers for this achievement.
