JAMMU, Nov 3: To felicitate the meritorious students who have secured positions at University and College Level in session 2011-12, the Management of Kalamkari Centre Society (KCS) organized a function, here today.
The students who were felicitated included Saloni Jamwal and Suneeta Devi, who had secured first and third position at the University level respectively, while Choudhary Reena was felicitated for securing third rank at the College level.
The achievers were awarded a merit certificate and cash prize of Rs 17,000, 10,000 and 3,000 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
Dr Mubarak Singh, HoD Department of Education, Jammu University was the chief guest on the occasion, while P Chaudhri, Chairperson and US Chaudhri, President KCS were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, welcome note was presented by Dr Ashok Pandita, while Bandhana presented vote of thanks.
