KCSC drubs I-Tech Jammu by 95 runs

AKHNOOR, Nov 6: KC Sports Club defeated I-Tech Jammu XI  by a big margin of 95 runs in the ongoing 7th Pawan Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Singh Cricket Club at Government Higher Secondary School ground, here.
Batting first, KC Sports Club scored a mammoth total of 226 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Amrit and Shashi scored half centuries, scoring 57 and 51 runs respectively, while Surya Mahotra, Vivek Singh and Arjun Choudhary contributed 39, 38 and 23 runs to the total respectively. For I-Tech Jammu, Manav took 3 wickets, while Raman and Akshay claimed one wicket each.
In reply, I-Tech Jammu scored 131 runs in 19.4 overs, thus lost the match by a huge margin of 95 runs. Sumesh top scored with 27 runs, while Bharat Bhushan and Rajat contributed 20 and 16 runs to the total respectively. Vivek Singh was the wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 4 important wickets, while Ajay and Rohan bagged 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
The match was officiated by Sham Singh Langeh and Rajinder Singh, while Deepak Mangotra was the scorer.
The Tournament is being held under the supervision of Mr Langeh, president Singh Cricket Club and organizing secretary of the Tournament.
