JAMMU, May 8: The KC Sports Club (KCSC) organised a swimming competition for under-14 girls at the club premises under the guidance of technical team involving those budding swimmers.
Tvisha Sharma bagged first place while Adhvika Bhat and Lavaniya Bharadwaj remained second and third respectively, a handout issued by the Club informed.
It was heartening to note that quite a good number of participants had learnt swimming recently and showed eagerness to test their skills through competition. After a few heats, competitors made it to the final on time basis.
The final turned out to be quite exciting as the swimmers put in their best effort to outdo each other using their own swimming styles since there was no restriction of using a particular style only.
The Club organizes various swimming events from time to time to offer the Swimmer’s the opportunity to display their skills in the sport, the handout added.
