JAMMU, Dec 31: KCSC Junior and KCSC drubbed rivals in their respective matches and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cup, here today.
In the first match of the day, KCSC Junior defeated Mayank Cricket Academy.
Batting first after winning the toss, Mayank Cricket Academy scored 102 runs. Areen made 45 runs whereas Tejas contribute with 12 runs.
From bowling side, Vikas and Vicky took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply, KCSC Junior chased the target in 9.5 overs. Vikas and Himanshu made 53 and 46 runs respectively.
Vikas Lakhotra was declared as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
In the second match, KCSC Senior drubbed Danny CC. After winning the toss, Danny CC set a target of 120 runs to win. Aman, Harinder and Kulvinder made 31, 24 and 19 runs respectively.
From bowling side, Himanshu and Vijay Dogra took 4 wickets each.
In the second inning, KCSC Senior chased the target in 12.2 overs. Abhinav Puri, Karan Rajput and Vicky Raina made 48, 31 and 25 runs respectively.
From bowling side, Johnson took 3 wickets.
Himanshu of KCSC Senior was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Ashok Kumar, Vijay Raina and Puran Raina.
