KCSC organizes indoor cricket match for physically challenged

Jammu, Oct 20 : As a gesture of care and goodwill towards the underprivileged segment of society, KC Sports Club today organized an indoor friendly Cricket match for physically challenged youngsters in their recently launched Indoor Cricket Hall on the first floor of the Club complex.
The youngsters were divided into two teams comprising of 8 players each side and were also briefed about the norms of an Indoor Cricket match. They played the six overs-a-side match with extreme eagerness and enthusiasm. It was heart-warming to watch them play every ball with shrieks of unreserved delight and cheer their team mates by whooping and clapping loudly.
At the end of the exciting match, the Club management presented the winners with a trophy. Speaking on the occasion, Siddhant Chowdhary, Managing Partner of the Club underpinned the Club’s commitment towards providing the people of Jammu. An indoor sports facility and that the Club was really proud to offer the physically challenged an opportunity to experience and enjoy the facilities available.
After light refreshment and a tour of the Gym and other indoor sports halls, the youngsters were then sent back to their homes.
