JAMMU, July 11: KC Sports Club Seniors defeated Krishna Cricket Club (KCC) Akhnoor by 4 wickets in the ongoing KC Sports Club T20 Cricket Cup 2017, being played at newly laid turf of KC School ground, here.
After winning the toss KCSC opted to bowl first.
Put into bat, KCC Akhnoor scored a modest total of 111 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Rohit, Vinny and Arush made 21, 18 and 13 runs respectively. From KCSC Seniors, Sahil Bhalwal took 3 wickets, while Vishal Rana took 2 wickets.
While chasing the target, KCSC scored the required runs in 14.1 overs by losing 6 wickets to win the match by 4 wickets. Abhishant Bakshi and Ateev Saini scored 30 runs each, while Karan Bhat hit quick-fire 29 off 14 balls, studded with 4 massive sixes. From KCC Akhnoor, Rahul took 3 wickets.
