Kehli Mandi FC emerges winner

SAMBA, Apr 17: Kehli Mandi Football Club team defeated Samba Seniors in the final by 6 goals to 4 and lifted the title trophy, here today.
From the very beginning of the match, the Kehli Mandi’s team dominated the Samba Seniors team. Akash and Manik scored two goals each for Samba Senior team, while for the winning team, Nikhil and Ritwik Sambyal scored two goals each, while Surjeet and Mohit scored one goal each.
BJP leader Narayan Singh was the chief guest of the final match who honoured the players of the winning and runner-up team by presenting cash prizes of Rs 11000 and Rs 7000 respectively. Rahul Katal was awarded with best player of the tournament, while Neeraj as the best goalkeeper and Nikhil Sambyal as best player of the final match.
Samba Municipal Council President Pawan Kohli, Councilor Raj Singh, Rajput Sabha’s District president Inder Singh, Gautam Singh, Puran Singh, Ajay Singh, Billu Gupta, Yangvir Singh and Keshav Singh were among the prominent who graced the event.
