JAMMU, Dec 31: Khalsa Hockey Club, Gole Gujral blanked 20-Punjab by four goals to nil (4-0) in the Jammu District Senior Hockey Tournament, being organized by Hockey J&K at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here.
Khalsa Club dominated the game from the word go and succeeded in scoring the first goal in the 14th minute of the match through Harjeet Singh. The goal was scored by Gurpreet Singh in the 29th minute, which were followed by 3rd and 4th goals by Gurpreet Singh and Taqdir Singh in 34th and 57th minutes respectively.
Khalsa Club got six penalty corners and converted one into a goal, while 20-Punjab got eight penalty corners and converted one into agoal.
The matches were officiated by Charanjeet Singh, MR Senapati, Joginder Singh, Jaspreet Singh and Abhishek.
