JAMMU, Feb 8: Defeating Guru Nanak Nagar Hockey Club (GNNHC) by a solitary goal in the semifinal today, Khalsa Club Gole Gujral sealed berth in the final and will take on Hiranagar Hockey Club in the summit clash at KK Hakhu Astroturf Hockey Stadium on February 11, 2017.
The players of both the teams displayed extraordinary skills in both the halves, but it was JS Reen from Khalsa Club, who succeeded in scoring a lone goal of the match in 52nd minute of the match.
The match was officiated by Iqbal Singh, Mukesh Kumar and Joginder Singh.
AGM J&K Bank, Iqbal Singh and Ajeet Singh Mehta were the guests of honour in today’s match, while prominent among others present on the occasion were Jaswant Singh, Rajinder Singh, Tajinder Singh, Vijay Puri and GS Bakshi.
The final match will be played at 2:30 pm on February 11, 2017.
