4th Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tourney

JAMMU, Dec 1: Khalsa Club Gole Gujaral will lock horns with MBS Club Simbal Camp to lift the trophy of 4th Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament, on Sunday.
In the first semi-final match played today, MBS Club Simbal Camp defeated Ajit Club Gole Gujral by 3-0. From MBS Club, 1st goal was scored by Ramnik in 29th minute while 2nd and 3rd goals were netted by Provjot Singh in 40th and 55th minute.
In the second semi-final, Khalsa Club registered win over Young Star Simbal Camp by 4-1. From Khalsa Club, 1st goal was scored by Gagandeep Singh, 2nd by Sikanderpal Singh, 3rd by Manpreet Singh and 4th by Jagjeet Singh.
From Young Star Simbal Camp, the lone goal was scored by Devinderpal Singh in 7th minute.
In the first match, the chief guest was Opinder Singh, Director Finance whereas in the second match, Attar Singh, a prominent businessman of Jammu, was the chief guest and Fateh Singh, General Secretary, DGPC Jammu was the guest of honour. All the members of Kashmir Sikh Sangat were also present on the occasion.
The tournament is being organized by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey J&K and under the supervision of TP Singh, Organizing Secretary, at KK Hakku Stadium. GS Bakshi, General Secretary Hockey J&K is the Co-ordinator of the tournament.
The officials for today’s matches were Karanjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Balmeet Singh, Hardeep Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Joginder Singh and Gurjeet Singh.
