UDHAMPUR, Sept 14: The final match of the T20 Champion Trophy in the memory of Swami Balraj Bharti Ji was played at Raja Ram Singh Stadium Ramnagar between JCC and Khalsa Cricket Club, here.
Earlier, JCC won the toss and elected to bat first and scored a modest total of 132 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process. Suresh Singh scored 51 runs.
In reply, Khalsa Cricket Club won the match easily in just 13 overs. Prithvi Singh and Nitin Jamwal scored magnificent half centuries. The man of the match award was given to Prithvi Singh, Suresh Singh was adjudged man the series for scoring four half centuries and taking 9 wickets.
SDM Ramnagar, Darinder Sharma and SDPO Ramnagar, Abhishek Sharma were the special guests on the occasion. A cash prize of Rs 30,000 was awarded to the winners and Rs 15,000 to runners-up team along with trophies by the special guests on the occasion.
