JAMMU, Dec 28: Khalsa Hockey Club Gole Gujral lifted 6th Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey tournament title by defeating MBS Hockey Club Simbal, organised by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey J&K at KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
In the finals, Khalsa HC defeated MBS Hockey Club by 6 goals to 2, wherein MK Sinha, ADGP HQ, PHQ was the chief guest of the event, while guests of honour were Ranjit Kalra, Member Sports Council along with SSP Randheer Singh and Jarnail Singh Peaks Automobile.
Rajinder Singh (Sr.vice president Hockey J&K), GS Bakshi, Ishan Sharma (Treasurer Hockey J&K), Supinder Deep Singh Bakshi (Secy general Hockey J&K), Dr Anitipal Singh (Orthopedician), Babu Singh (President KSS),Tarlok Singh ,Bupinder Singh Popinder Singh, Manjeet Singh, Sewa Singh,TP Singh (Organising Secretary of tournament) and all other members of Kashmir Sikh Sangat were present during the closing ceremony.
The match was officiated by Jagjeet Singh, Iqbal Singh, Joginder Singh, Tejinder Singh, Jaspreet Singh, D Singh and Gurpreet Singh.
