Khalsa outplays Wazir by 8 wkts in 2nd Holi Cup

JAMMU, Apr 27: Khalsa Cricket Club defeated Wazir Cricket Club by 8 wickets in the ongoing 2nd Holi Cup T20 Cricket Tournament at Mandal Cricket Ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Wazir Cricket Club scored 134 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Sahil (32) and Raj Singh (24) were the main scorers. For Khalsa Club, Prithvi took 3 wickets, while Nitin and Ricky claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Khalsa Club chased the target in 13.4 overs by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Harinder Pal Singh (72) was the top scorer, whiler Nitin and Kawalpreet Singh contributed 24 and 17 runs to the total respectively. For Wazir Cricket Club, Raghubir Singh and Sahil claimed one wicket each.
The match was officiated by Varinder Sigh and Babloo as umpires, while the Tournament is being organized by Sachin Singh, Mukesh Sharma and Sunil Kumar.
