Khan reiterates Government’s commitment on development

JAMMU, June 21:  Shabir Ahmed Khan ex-Minister and MLA Rajouri  today reiterated the Government commitment towards State’s all round prosperity and development.
Addressing a public darbar, in Thanamandi today he said  that people are best judges to see the performance of the present dispensation in this regard. A massive gathering of Sarpanchs/Panchs and local public of the area  was witnessed. Khan was accompanied various District /Block level officers of R&B, RDD, PDD, Health, Irrigation, PHE and other concerned departments. On public demand, Khan released Rs. 3.00 lakh for the construction of multipurpose hall at Thanamandi. Khan said number of welfare and developmental schemes have already been completed and various schemes and projects in this regard are being implemented to further improve the socio-economic profile of people of the area.
Khan said that the Coalition Government has done a lot in the overall development of Rajouri Constituency and efforts made by him there is  development in all respects viz-a viz  status of RBA to various villages of Thanamandi Block, Sub-Division status to Thanamandi, other Administrative units, Sanctioning of ANMT School for Thanamandi during the tenure of Health Minister besides various Power projects, inclusion of 4 villages in RARDP and various other developmental works which were taken up in hand .
Khan after listening to public problems, enjoined upon the officers to render their duties with honesty, zeal and enthusiasm and redress the genuine issues of the public on priority.
