JAMMU, Apr 21: Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati Raj and Law & Justice Abdul Haq Khan today took stock of the ongoing developmental works in the High Court complex and held interactions with the various office bearers who apprised the Minister with their demands related to improvement of facilities.
Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Information Technology, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Nanda, Advocate General D.C.Raina, Law Secretary Mohammad Ashraf were also present on the occasion
The Minister also inaugurated the waiting lounge in the office of Advocate General. He directed the concerned executing agencies to complete the ongoing works of the parking in time bound manner and ensure adequate facilities in the complex, adding that concerted efforts will be made to improve infrastructural and logistic facilities to augment the legal system in the State.
The Advocate General D.C Raina discussed with the minister various issues pertaining to developing better infrastructure and augmentation of the existing legal system.
