KARGIL, Mar 9: Khardoon team lifted the Inter-block Traditional Archery Tournament Cup, here today.
The tournament concluded at Zgang Chiktan in which various teams from the Shakar Chiktan block participated.
Executive Councilor Agriculture, LAHDC, Kargil Mohsin Ali was the chief guest on the occasion. The tournament was organized by Youth Association Zgang which is one of the rarest events in the traditional Archery competition.
EC Mohsin urged the Association to try to revive traditional Archery which will help in the revival of the game as well as also help to attract tourists in the region.
He also gave a cash prize of Rs 10,000 to the organizers and also announced Rs 5 lakh to MS Zgang Chiktan out of his CDF in the coming session.
Later, he distributed prizes among the winners and runner-up teams.
