KHC to lock horns with HCC in JMSM Hockey Tourney finals

JAMMU, June 1: Khalsa Hockey Club (KHC) Gole Gujral will lock horns with Hiranagar Hockey Club (HCC) in final match of the 1st Jathedar Mohinder Singh Memorial (JMSM) Hockey Tournament being played at KK Hakku Stadium, here tomorrow.
On 3rd day of the tournament, two semi finals were played. Chief guest of the 1st match was Ramesh Arora (former MLC).
In the first match, Khalsa Hockey Club Gole Gujral defeated Dashmesh Hockey Club by 4-2 while in the second semi final Young Khalsa lost to Hiranagar Hockey Club by 3-0.
Today’s matches were officiated by Jasprit Singh, Rohit Sharma, MatinderPal Singh (NIS Hockey Coach, Poonch), Jagjit Singh and Sahil.
Among others present on the occasion were GS Bakshi, Rajinder Singh (senior vice president, Hockey J&K), Ishan Sharma (treasurer, Hockey J&K), Daljeet Singh (organising secretary), Tajinder Singh (resident secretary, Hockey J&K), Dr Karanbir Singh (secretary, Hockey J&K), RP Sarna, Manjeet Singh Randhawa and Harmanan Singh (general secretary, AKS Club Digiana).
