*Poonch Dream in U-19 Football final

JAMMU, Dec 3: In an exhibition match for girls organised with the sole aim to promote football among women, Khelo India Centre Hiranagar defeated Khelo India Centre Reasi by 2-1 here today.
Shivani scored two goals for the winning team. The first goal came in the 10th minute of the match, followed by a lead via a penalty in the 50th minute. From Reasi, Sharanya was the only goal scorer in the 25 minute. Former Minister Priya Sethi was chief guest in the match who presented the title trophy and medals. Meanwhile, in the Jammu Gold Cup Under-19 Football Championship Dream Football Club Poonch made it to the final of the Jammu Gold Cup Under-19 Football Championship being held at GGM Science College ground by defeating professional Pegasus Football Club in the semi-finals.
Though Pegasus dominated their second half of the play, the early lead taken by Dream FC worried them throughout the game. Now, Dream FC shall take on J&K Bank Academy (Jammu) in the title clash tomorrow at 2.30 pm at GGM Science College ground.
