SAMBA, Apr 30: District police Samba traced out kidnapped minor girl from New Delhi and arrested kidnapper.
A written report was lodged at Police Station, Vijaypur by father of the girl a resident of village Majgoun, Rajnagar, MP AP Rahya, Vijaypur that his daughter has been kidnapped by persons namely Ravi along with his father Pattoo Ram R/o Majgoun, Rajnagar, MP A/P Rahya, Vijaypur.
Acting on the complaint, a case FIR No. 45/2020 U/S 363/34 IPC was registered at P/S Vijaypur and search was started to trace out the said kidnapped girl.
Special team from PS Vijaypur was constituted which conducted raids at different suspicious places in and out of J&K and finally succeeded in tracing out the kidnapped girl from Lakshmi Nagar, New Delhi. The main accused namely Ravi S/o Pattoo R/O Majgoun, Rajnagar, MP A/P Rahya, Vijaypur along with his father were arrested on spot in the instant case.
The kidnapped girl was brought back safely to PS Vijaypur and handed over to her legal heirs after completing legal formalities. Later on, keeping in view of pandemic disease COVID-19, the recovered girl along with her guardian, father have been put to quarantine at Quarantine Centre (QC), Ghagwal. The main accused Ravi has also been shifted to QC Ghagwal under police guard whereas his accused father is in Police Custody at Police Station.
