SAMBA, Nov 12: District Police Samba has traced out a kidnapped minor girl in a swift action within 24 hours with the arrest of kidnapper and reunited her with her family.
Police said yesterday a report was lodged at Police Station, Vijaypur by father of Neha (name changed), resident of village Gudwal, Vijaypur, that his daughter has been kidnapped by one person namely Raman Sharma @ Janu, S/o Harbans Lal of Rampur, Ramgarh with the help of his associate Arun S/o Ashok Kumar of Gagore Vijaypur.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case FIR No. 176/2019 U/S 363/109 IPC was registered at Police Station, Vijaypur and search was started to trace out the kidnapped girl. With continuous efforts a police team of P/S Vijaypur headed by its SHO Inspector, Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Dr. Lov Karan Taneja has traced out the kidnapped minor girl from Hatli Morh, Kathua and arrested accused person namely Raman Sharma @Janu S/o Harbans Lal R/O Rampur, Ramgarh. The vehicle Alto Car No. JK02N 8090 used for kidnapping was also seized by the police team.
After completing legal formalities, the recovered girl handed over to her parents at PS Vijaypur.
