KISHTWAR, May 30: Dachhan Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged on 19 April this year by a man in Police Station Dachhan stating therein that his daughter has been kidnapped by a person namely Nayeem Ahmed, son of Mohammad Ramzan, a resident of Patnazi Bounjwah.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 10/2022 under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Dachhan and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl vis arrest the abductor.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Dachhan led by Inspector Vikram Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Marwah Devinder Singh Bandral and SSP Kishtwar Shafqaf Hussain Batt rescued the kidnapped minor girl from Rajiv Nagar area of District Jammu and arrested the abductor.
After completing all medico and legal formalities, the girl has been handed over to legal heirs.
