JAMMU, July 22: Gadigarh Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, on July 14 this year, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Post Gadigarh stating that on July 13 her daughter went missing from her aunt’s house at Rohi Morh.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 143/2020 under section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Satwari and hunt was launched to trace out the minor girl.
During the course of investigation, a team from Gadigarh Police Post led by SI Lakhvir Singh under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Nishant Gupta, SDPO South Ram Singh and SP South Deepak Digra conducted raid in different States and finally recovered the girl from Pune.
One person identified as Ayan Khan, son of Tariq Mohammad of Bufliaz District Poonch, who had kidnapped the girl has been arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
