JAMMU, Feb 6: Gangyal police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested three accused.
As per police sources, on February 3 this year, a written application was received at Police Station Gangyal from a lady regarding kidnapping of her 15-years-old daughter.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 3/21 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Gangyal and investigation started.
To recover the kidnapped girl, special teams of Police Station Gangyal were constituted under the supervision of SDPO South Parshotam Mengi.
A team led by SHO Police Station Gangyal Inspector Raghuvir Singh connected various leads and a team went for search of the accused in Kanpur, UP where after hectic efforts and with the support of technical assistance of the native police of the concerned areas, the kidnapped minor girl was recovered and three abductors were arrested.
The arrested persons were identified as Achyut, son of Kartik, Badal, son of Gokul and Deepak, son of Milu, all residents of Odhisa, at present Champ Factory Gangyal District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
