JAMMU, Feb 19: Police here today rescued a kidnapped minor girl within 12 hours of her abduction.
Police sources informed that one Daleep Singh son of Gandeep Singh of Kana Chak lodged a report at Police Station Kahna Chak regarding missing of his minor daughter.
On this special police teams under the supervision of SDPO Domana, Sunil Singh were constituted and the team led by SHO Police Station Kahna Chak, Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal assisted by PSI Mohd. Shabir with the help of technical assistance and CCTV footages of the area along with timely human intervention traced the minor girl within 12 hours.
A case U/S 363 IPC has been registered at Police Station Kahna Chak in this regard and investigation started.
The overall operation was done under the supervision of SP Rural, Sanjay Sharma.
