JAMMU, Feb 14: Kids Heaven Convent Higher Secondary School,Kathua celebrated Talent Hunt-2016 in the School premises at Kathua today.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Development Authority (LSDA) was the chief guest whereas Aruna Sharma, District Education & Planning Officer, Kathua was the guest of honour.
The programme started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, which was followed by the Sarswati Vandana.
Radha Mansotra, Principal of the School, who presided over the function presented the progress report. She apprised the gathering that students of the School have been excelling not only in academics but also in games and sports.
The students and tiny – tots of the school presented variety of cultural and entertaining programmes on the occasion. Thematic items on national integration, education of the girl child and caring for the parents by the children were presented by the students.
Dr Bharat Bhushan, CEO, LSDA in his address stressed the need for imparting quality and value -oriented education to the students to make them better citizens of tomorrow.
Sat Paul Mansotra, Director of Kids Heaven Senior Secondary School, Kathua also addressed.
