JAMMU, Mar 3: The Annual function of Kids Planet School, Bhagwati Nagar was celebrated with great zest and zeal at Government Polytechnic College Auditorium, here.
Former Cabinet Minister and ex-State BJP President, Sat Sharma, was the chief guest while Parmod Kapahi, Corporator Ward No.14 and Succha Singh, Corporator Ward No.31 were the Guests of Honour on the occasion. The function began with the lighting of traditional lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
Earlier, all present on the occasion paid tributes to martyrs of Pulwama attack and observed two-minute silence in the memory of brave hearts followed by a patriotic song presented by the teachers of Kids Planet.
Ekta Bhatia, Principal of Kids Planet School, presented welcome address.
The Principal also focused on the need for developing positive sense of professionalism amongst teachers and further strengthening teacher-student relationship.
She presented Annual Report enumerating the achievements of the school in the last academic session highlighting the academic achievements and all round development of the school through quality education.
The students presented a wonderful cultural programme which mesmerised the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the efforts made by the school management to establish Kids Planet Playway School with a motive to provide quality education.
Exhorting teachers to emphasise on this crucial aspect with a sense of devotion, Parmod Kapahi said that the teachers have to be role model for their taught.
Succha Singh complimented the management for organising important events.
Meritorious students were felicitated for their outstanding achievement in different competitions.
Kanchan Gupta, Director of the School applauded the efforts of the students, teachers and parents for making the celebration a success.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Ravi Gupta, Chairman of Kids Planet School.
