JAMMU, Nov 25: Kids Planet Public School, Akhnoor celebrated its Annual Day with the theme “The Legend of Buddha,” shedding light on the life of Lord Buddha. Former Minister & State Vice President of BJP, Sham Lal Sharma was chief guest at the event. He encouraged parents to give personal attention to their wards, emphasizing the significance of value-based education.
Sham Sharma graced the students with his enlightening presence, delivering a profound address that resonated with the essence of cultural identity and linguistic heritage.
He passionately apprised the students of the school about the elevated status of Dogri, Sanskrit, and Hindi as official languages of Jammu Kashmir. “Language is the thread that ties us to our cultural heritage,” remarked Sharma. He urged the students to embrace Dogri, Sanskrit, and Hindi not just as official languages but as integral components of their identity. Sham Lal Sharma’s call to focus on these languages resonated deeply, as he encouraged students to prioritize their linguistic heritage alongside academic pursuits. Sharma applauded Chairman of the school Rohit Gupta and Principal Mona Gupta for their tireless efforts in shaping the children to be both technically modern and culturally strong.
