JAMMU, Dec 9: Kids Planet School, Pamposh Colony Janipur celebrated its 5th Annual Day with pomp and show at Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk, here.
On the occasion, State President National Democratic Party (I) Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest, who inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the traditional lamp in presence of other dignitaries.
It was followed by the cultural items, enthralling the entire audience. There was a festive atmosphere and the children enjoyed the activities during celebration of the day.

While addressing the gathering, Rajesh Gupta appreciated the school management for rendering valuable services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir by providing quality education to the kids of school and enabling them to make successful careers in various walks of life. He complimented students for exhibiting their talent through cultural items presented during the function.
Gupta urged upon parents that it is good to see their wards using electronic gadgets but at the same time they should not forget to enjoy traditional games which used to keep fit physically as well as mentally. He also advised parents to give free hand self dependency to their wards to ensure better and stable future.
