POONCH, Nov 13: Khelo India Hockey Club (KIHC) trounced Stadium XI by 5 goals to nil in the ongoing celebration of 75th Poonch Link-up Day, being organised by Army, here today.
In the women’s section, the match was played between Khelo India Hockey Centre and Stadium XI wherein KIHC won by 5 goals to nil. Akshara scored 3 goals, while Saira and Sanjana scored 1 goal each for the winning team.
The match was officiated by Rishab Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Sunil Raina and Mohd Shokat. The tournament is being organised by the Army in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, Hockey J&K & DYSS which was technically supervised by Mukesh Kumar and Navjot Singh (Hockey coaches).
