AKHNOOR, Feb 2: Kids Planet Public School, Akhnoor celebrated the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony and Annual Prize Distribution function with gusto and gaiety, today.
Suresh Chander Sharma, SDM Akhnoor, was chief guest while Madan Lal Sharma, ZEO Akhnoor and Sham Lal Sharma, Ex. Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control were special guests on the occasion. The Kingergarten Graduation Ceremony is first of its kind in the education history of Akhnoor town. The Senior KG Students passed out their Kindergarten and were awarded with degrees from the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of lamp as a tribute to Goddess Saraswati by the chief guest Suresh Chander Sharma, Directors of school Mrs and Mr Mohan Lal Gupta, chairperson Rohit Gupta and Principal, Mona Gupta. Thereafter Principal presented the annual report of the school, showing and broadcasting accolades and laurels notched by the students for excellence in curricular and co- curricular activities.
A skit on ‘Deforestation’ and other items were presented by the students.
The chief guest felicitated the students for their academic achievements. At last Vote of Thanks was presented by Vice Principal Rita Manhas, where she extended special thanks to Madhu Mishra, Ekta Vaid, Arti Nagpal and Nitasha Gupta for their restless effort to made the function a great event.
