RAMBAN, June 19: Kingfisher XI Cricket Club, Sunari crushed Hydro Power Cricket Club by 3 wickets and lifted title trophy of T-20 Cricket Tournament organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Delta Force at Police Parade Ground, here.
Batting first, Hydro Power Cricket Club scored 173 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. In reply Kingfisher XI chased the target in 19.3 overs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Winners received a cash prize of Rs 25,000 alongwith trophy and the runners up got a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and trophy.
Meanwhile, Youth Club Bhaderwah registered 3 wickets win over Islamia Cricket Club, Bhaderwah and claimed the title trophy of T-20 Cricket Tournament organized by Rashtriya Rifles at Bhaderwah under Delta Force organised in collaboration with Chenab Valley Unit at Government Degree College ground, Bhaderwah.
The winner and runner-up teams were felicitated with trophies and medals by Tehsildar Bhaderwah and SHO Bhaderwah in presence of locals and sports lovers.
Earlier, DS Parihar, MLA Bhaderwah inaugurated the tournament.
The aim of the tournament was to provide opportunity to the people residing in remote areas to showcase their talent. A total of 85 teams participated in the Championship.
