Kingpin of motor-cycle lifters’ gang held, 5 bikes recovered

RAJOURI, Nov 30:  The police has nabbed the kingpin of a motor-cycle lifters’ gang  and recovered five more stolen bikes from his possession in district Rajouri today.
Two members of  this gang have already been arrested by Dharamsal police party led by SHO Insp Darshan Singh.  Today, the police party led by SHO Dharamsal, under the supervision of ASP Nowshera  Atul Sharma and SDPO Nawaz Ahmed managed to nab the kingpin from a hideout in the area.
He has been identified as Mohd Imran, son of  Mohd Rashid, resident of Challas in Rajouri.  His two associates were arrested by Dharamsal police on November 2 and eight bikes were recovered from their possession. A few of them had been sold out.
The police placed  Imran under sustained interrogation and recovered five more bikes from his possession.  He was operating in Jammu and Rajouri. Two bikes he had sold  in  Kashmir valley. Three bikes were stolen from Bakshi Nagar  and Bus Stand area of Jammu by the gang. The police said that more recoveries are expected from their possession.
