NEW DELHI, Oct 13: Kishmish prices rose up to Rs 300 per 40 kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists due to festive season amid paucity of stocks.
Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the upside in prices.
Kishmish Indian yellow and green prices rose up to Rs 300 to conclude at Rs 3,800-4,500 and Rs 4,200-7,500 per 40 kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists due to festive season against fall in supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up kishmish prices in the wholesale dry fruit market here.
