Kitchloo visits Nagsini, takes stock of people’s grievances

KISHTWAR, Jan 6:  Former minister and MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo today visited tehsil Nagsini of district Kishtwar where he interacted with several National Conference party workers and activists.
Accompanied by NC workers, Sajjad Kitchloo also met with Nagsini locals who apprised him of the general grievances and demands. They informed that workers have not been paid pending MGNREGA wages while works on new plan was yet to begin despite the fact that limited season was left out for the year 2016-17.
People of the area also drew attention towards drought like situation in the area and demanded free ration for six months. The locals, especially Gujjars, listed their some other problems also, including non availability of ration, electricity and water in their areas.
Sajjad Kitchloo assured the people to take up their demands and issues with the concerned authorities and raise their voice in the ongoing budget session.  He lambasted the PDP-BJP coalition Government for damaging the social system of the State by pursuing RSS agenda.
Kitchloo said that he would expose all such forces, which were trying to divide people on communal and regional lines. He reiterated his commitment for welfare and development of Kishtwar people.
